HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIMMY AND TED

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIMMY AND TED

What a busy couple of weeks around here.
First I would like to apoligise for not posting last week but I got the Blue Screen of Death on the computer and spent this week trying to fix it.

Now let me take you back in time to the days after the garage door project. I did it, I got the door to work and rearranged the garage. My car fits and I can even get in and out. We are all proud of me. It was not without injury or embarrasment. I was putting shelves together and an unfriendly hammer decided to let me know who was boss. I ended up with a blood blister on the fold of skin between my thumb and forefinger. And just a few minutes later I cut my finger on a broken planter. Not my best moment.
Lets move on. Tuesday rolled around and the Wii Fit board came out. I was the first in line to get one. I got the thing home and it is a blast.

Leanne and I tried out the board too (sorry no pictures of us, it is not pretty).

Jay Jay decided he wanted to get his tounge pierced but mommy said no!! We all know one track, so he tried anyway. We aren't sure how it happened but we ended up in the emergency room. Not to worry it was only a small gash in the tougue, about 5mm, and didn't even need stitches.

Thursday we headed for Seattle for the Memorial Day weekend. It was a very fun trip. The boys loved spending time with Peg and Ted. They really like to see how fast Grandpa can move when they walk to the watertower. We had a birthday party for Ted and Timmy. Timmy got a keyboard to play music on and Grandpa got sidewalk chalk and bubbles. We also did two year photos. He is TOO CUTE.

Headed home on Monday and I proceeded fix the computer. I also got a new case for Jay Jay's computer. I did forget to mention, even though it seemed we had packed everything but the kitchen sink to go to Seattle, we forgot the camera. Bithday party pictures will be on the page when we get the disk form Ted. Now everything is back to its semi-normal state.
I had duty on Thursday so today was the day to catch up on the blog.

Hi Again

Hi Again!!

Just another update here in the Brock household. What an interesting week. The boys are discovering new ways to make Leanne and my hearts stop. Here we catch them either silding down or up the stairs, not sure which.

The week lead off with some pretty cool fog. It was wild hearing the ocean and knowing it was there but no water in sight.

And then the sun came out for the weekend. We took advantage of the 95 degree weather.

On Saturday we took a trip into the big city and stopped by Target, Home Depot and the mall. Sunday we went to the Farmer's Market and I installed a new garage door opener. The garage is slowly getting organized. I might be able to get my car in it by the fall.

More to follow.

Mother's Day Weekend

Another Great week in Seaside. Peg and Ted came down for the weekend. Ted painted the boys room and everyone else vacated for a visit to a couple of scrapbook stores in Long Beach WA.
The room looks great, thanks soo much Ted!!!
Sunday brought Mothers Day and everyone enjoyed.
Peg opened her gifts and Leanne got her gift from the boys.
They gave her a laugh because they did what she said for once.
Not really, she actually got a new WiiFit board.
It will be in the mail on the 21st when they come out.
A few good walks on the beach ended the weekend and we all enjoyed each others company. More to follow next week.

Move to Seaside Oregon

What a move!!

We headed out of San Diego on the 18th of April. Naturally we spent a couple more days at Disneyland and we all had a great time.

From there we moved on up the road to Sacramento. We stayed the night and visited with Cousin Kristen the next morning, she is pregnant and we are all excited about that.

We moved on to our next destination at Aunt Gail's and Uncle Dick's. Uncle Dick got an introduction to the Transformers from Jay Jay and he seemed to like it.

We cut west to the ocean from there and ended up in Florence Oregon. We eased our way up the Oregon coast from there.

We stopped at the sea lion caves, Timmy likes sea lions Jay Jay thinks they are too loud. Leanne hit up a scrapbook store, like that’s a new one, and we toured the Tillamook Cheese Factory.

We finally reached Seaside but the journey didn't end there. There were new friends to see and lots of empty space. A couple of nights on the air mattress and cots then our stuff arrived. We now have lots of boxes along with our furniture. I head back to work on Friday so maybe this will get a little more routine, like once a week as I had planned. Anyway ttyl.

Check out Timmy's latest video.
