Catching Up Again

Just trying to catch up again. A lot has happened since I last posted.

The boys and I went out to try a rocket launch. It went really high and the boys made great chasers. That was too much fun.

Jay Jay went to Elise's birthday party.

The next big thing to happen was Easter. Ted and Peg came down.
Since the boys are now old enough we decided to get them baptized. They enjoyed being the center of attention. Nothing major happened for the next couple of weeks.
I had to go east for a week to a pursuit coxswain course to get ready for this next patrol. That was too cool wish I had pictures but we didn't take any. I basically got to drive the boat like I stole it without having to worry about breaking it. Anyway I will be heading out to meet the ship soon and I am sure Leanne will probably keep up with things better than I have. I will try to make a post or two while I am gone.

Spring Break

We had a great spring break here! Hope everyone else had the same. Elizabeth joined us for the week and I actually took some time off work.

It seems like we didn't do a lot but we did enjoy the time we had. We flew the kites and enjoyed the beach together. We went down to Newport to see the Aquarium and got some really cool pictures.

Timmy touched a Starfish and everyone loved the shark tank.

We joined the Oregon beach clean-up on Saturday. I had to take Elizabeth home on Sunday but all in all it was fun. We are headed to Seattle next weekend for a visit. New adventures coming soon.

Well it's me Timmy and here I go again!!!

Hi, it's me Timmy and I just had to tell everyone about my latest adventure with the Ocean Park ,WA paramedics.
I guess it had been to long between visits to the ER or something. Mommy found this really neat store in Ocean Park,WA. so daddy decided that would be something fun to do over spring break while Elizabeth is here so off we go...when we got there we started by looking at the toys of course and then it was down the rest of the aisle where I promptly found a potatoe peeler (it was brightly colored and got my attention) and I grabbed it and cut the tips of two of my fingers. I said ouch and daddy looked down just in time to see all the blood pouring out of my tips. He asked mommy for a kleenex and then it was off to the bathroom to wash while mommy freaked out and said we need to take him to the ER. Instead I just got to go across the street to the Fire Dept. and the paramedic took really good care of me but did offer a ride in the Ambulance to the ER but mommy said that nasty "NO" word so no ride for me. It turned out the cuts weren't really that bad but the tips of your fingers bleed alot anyway. The nice paramedic guy gave me two band-aids and cleaned me up with sterile water because of course I did this to my left hand and it was covered in blood so mommy said no thumb sucking until it's clean. She really likes that word "NO" it's not my favorite, infact what's wrong with a little blood when you suck your thumb?
Well that's it for my story I'll let you know when the next incident happens I'm sure it won't be long after all I like the ER and the paramedics and the doctor and the nurses.

Jay is Back

I made it back from Sea. It has been over two months since my last update and quite a bit has been going on at home as well as at sea. So here we go. We headded off the Oregon coast for most of January. The ship broke for a few days and we got to spend a little time back here. Then we headed down to the Southern California coast. It really got moving there.

After the flight deck got re-surfaced we were on patrol and had a SAR case with two people we found after their fishing boat sunk. Then off San Diego I got to wake the whole ship up around 3AM for a go fast with27 migrants on board.

Finally to top it off we came across about four or five Humpback whales that thought thew ship was one of them. During this time at home the south and west side of the house got some water damage and both of the sides had to be reshingled. Leanne is a trooper and took care of everything with the landlord. As soon as I got back Leanne go a call from Kristen saying they would be at Lori's house. We rushed down to see the new baby.

Elizabeth will be here next week during spring break so we will tell you more tales then.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

Hello again everyone.
I hope everybody had a great Christmas and a Super New Year.

We had a great Christmas in Seattle. It was filled with fun and snow for everyone. I think everybody got involved in the snowball fight.
We built a snowman and Elizabeth and Jay Jay made a sled run in front of Ted and Pegs house.

We opened presents. Santa out did himself as per usual. Too many toys but it was a lot of fun watching Timmy go at the presents. What a wonderful Christmas.

The snow melted and we headed back to Seaside. Then it was time for New Years. Leanne, the boys and myself had a awesome time

Not much else going on but we enjoyed the time together before I have to leave for a patrol. I will be gone till at least March.
HAVE A HAPPY 2009!!
